The Organization
Metro-INET began in 1999, with an agreement between the Cities of Roseville and Mounds View to share IT resources. Realizing we had a good thing, other cities joined. We currently serve 44 members, encompassing over 2,000 total user accounts and approximately 140 buildings on our network. In 2021 we became an independent entity through a Joint Powers Agreement. We're an established organization with a track record of success, in an exciting period of transformation to increase our responsiveness, resilience, and sustainability.
